Position Summary:
AgriCapture is a mission-driven company that verifies Climate-Friendly management practices on farms, ranchlands, and grasslands to quantify reduced greenhouse gas emissions. By certifying agricultural products as Climate-Friendly and developing carbon credits, we serve corporations who are reducing and offsetting their GHG emissions while empowering consumers to consciously select Climate-Friendly products. We are seeking a Marketing Intern to support corporate customer acquisition as well as farmer and landowner enrollment.
As the Marketing Intern, you will assist the marketing team by creating and distributing content, completing research projects, and supporting long term marketing projects and initiatives. As a member of a fast-paced startup team, you will gain hands-on marketing experience and learn about the environmental services market.
Objectives:
- Create marketing and sales materials in line with established goals, supporting short-term and long-term marketing initiatives
- Assist with projects focused on company branding, content generation, and social media marketing
- Collaborate on the planning, goal setting, creation, and implementation of marketing campaigns
Responsibilities:
- Help create social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral
- Assist in the planning and distribution of written, video, and image content for marketing channels
- Conduct research projects on market trends to inform the marketing and sales strategy
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Studying business, marketing, communications, or similar subject
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts and principles
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
- Excellent writing skills
- Familiarity with social media channels including LinkedIn and Facebook
- Previous exposure to Search Engine Optimization strategies and web traffic metrics
