Position Summary:
AgriCapture is a mission-driven company that certifies Climate-Friendly practices on farms, ranchlands and grasslands and quantifies associated emissions reductions, enabling producers to generate revenue for their sustainable management practices. By certifying agricultural products as Climate-Friendly and developing carbon credits, we serve corporations who are reducing and offsetting their GHG emissions while empowering consumers to consciously select Climate-Friendly products. AgriCapture was recently awarded a $7.5 million grant from the USDA to build a market for Climate-Friendly commodities. We are seeking a Field Data Analyst to support our expanding projects.
As a Field Data Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in expanding AgriCapture’s Carbon Offset projects and Climate Friendly Certifications. You will be expected to gain a deep understanding of Carbon Offset projects and the data that is required to ensure their completion. This will be a dynamic, fast-paced position providing a unique opportunity to be a part of a growing company that is poised to have a positive environmental impact.
Responsibilities
- Assist in expanding AgriCapture’s Climate Friendly Certification and Carbon Offset programs through data collection and analysis.
- Gather, interpret, and analyze agricultural data to prove sustainable farming practices were implemented.
- Develop Excel tools for tracking, monitoring, and quantifying emissions from agricultural operations.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of developing Carbon Offset Projects and Climate Friendly Commodity certifications.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in relevant field preferred (Agribusiness, Finance, Business Administration, etc.)
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel to intake, organize, and analyze field data.
- Strong organizational skills to help collect, measure, and analyze data.
